Helllllloooooooo Ladies and Gentlemen!
I'm Seige, a player of well here and Amtgaurd in the IRL, lawls. I'm making a post here to generally poke and begin the first thread here! 12:3-something and bored is a bad combination. Anyways, wanting to get some people to relate their "pokeman" experiences in life. Don't have to be personal, or it can be. So please... post your silly, serious or perhaps "feels" poke experiences. I'll even start first!
First time I've ever played pokemon was Pokemon yellow. Had so much fun with it, then was bribed out of it for gold. Found an old Gameboy adapter for my grandparents SUPA'NINTINDO. Great machine, played Gold on their bigscreen for years. Managed to take and get my Typhlosion up to lv. 83 and eat AKA beat everything in sight. Caught two out of three of the legendary "dogs" but fainted Entei with one shot from my (at the time) lv. 40 Typhlosion, "the heck!?" right? So, after playing this game for so long and beating the 5 so many times... my younger brother find my game and puts it into his SP.
Turns out... he didn't like Typhlosion. He liked Chicorita, the grassy thing. Saved over my game for Chicorita, didn't like how the game played and brought it to me and said, "THis game is boring, and the pokemon aren't like what is in the movie (refering to Pokemon 2000, we have the VHS). How old is this game (This was during 2007)?" I swear to it... blood vessals broke and I will forever remember, "Jake the Typhlosion." I honor the fictional, pixel character with usually making something Firey happen in my roleplays... or using a Cyndaquil. -End, yay!-
